Welcome to my blog where I explore the wonderful world of Internet Marketing in my attempt to make money online.

This website is for anyone who is interested in making money online and needs a little guidance amongst the overwhelming information that is out there!

I have been making money online for just over a year now in various internet marketing niches, after branching out from my web design business.

I have invested a lot of time (and money) into the various niches within Internet Marketing, working out which ones can give a good return and make a bit of cash, and which ones I would enjoy working on!

The results are all here on this blog for you to read, absorb and learn from – even my mistakes are here in all their glory!

I love having so many areas to choose from in internet marketing and I try to stick to my main criteria when choosing a topic to learn and earn from;

It has to be easy to pick up for a newbie.
It has to be a recommended product/topic from one of my chosen Internet Marketers who I can trust.
It has to be quick enough to learn and implement so that I can start earning.

Everything I talk about on this blog and recommend, I have used myself, or have worked closely with people who have put these money making ideas into place.

How to Get Extra Website Visitors

Happy Belated New Year!

So, during a month off from the hectic world of internet marketing and web design (gotta love the benefits of working online from home!), I took time to evaluate which direction I was headed in for 2012.

I’d more or less decided that as much as I love sharing my internet marketing experiences here, I just don’t have the time to devote to new projects at the moment due to my expanding web design business and I was ready to take a break from this website. (all be it reluctantly).

That was until I checked my Google Analytic stats for December – my visitors doubled for that month! Woot Woot!!

Now this blog is still very much in it’s infancy and the visitors are still in the low hundreds, so don’t go thinking I’ve found the ideal solution to bring you hundreds of thousands of extra website visitors!

I only wrote one blog post in December (not good, I know), as I only worked for a couple of weeks in December and I had a lot of SEO work to do for my web design clients before I finished for an early Christmas break.

And because I was trying to cram a month’s worth of work into two weeks, I wasn’t doing much in the way of Social Media either.

So, after checking my Analytics stats as to which posts were being visited the most and what keywords were finding my website, it became obvious why I had all this extra traffic to my website and I wanted to share my findings with you. (more…)

Yahoo Site Explorer – Backlink Checker Alternative.

I didn’t realize how much I used Yahoo Site Explorer as a backlink checker until it disappeared on November 21st 2011!

backlink checker for link building Finding out the number of backlinks a competitor has and the quality of them is a crucial part of SEO (Search Engine Optimization).

Once you know how and why your competitor’s are ranking well, you know what you need to do to beat them and show high in the search engine rankings and Yahoo Site Explorer gave a great insight, not only on how many backlinks a competitor had, but where they came from.

They were also used in conjunction with other link-building software such as Market Samurai, which I thoroughly recommend and use on a regular basis.
Market Samurai not only shows you backlinks from the top ten sites on page 1 of Google, it checks any individual URL you enter and shows the Pagerank, whether or not the keywords are in the Title, Description and Header, age of the domain, if in DMOZ and Yahoo Directories and much much more. New Facebook Fan Page Software Creates Stunning Facebook Pages in 5 Minutes!

Creating Facebook Fan Pages and Reveal Tabs just got a whole lot easier – and quicker – with the launch of a newly re-vamped web-based software by the already well established Facebook expert, Brian Moran of Get10000Fans.

As you know, I am a bit of a Facebook fan (haha, get it?) when it comes to creating Pages and promoting businesses through Facebook and I spend much of my spare time researching how best to create attractive looking pages and creating lots of extra visitors.
